Thousand Islands Facilitates 50 Large Vessel Passes Issuance

Thousand Islands Regency and Thousand Islands Port Authorities (KSOP) Office Class V intends to issue 50 large vessel passes (PAS besar) for residents who have traditional taxi boat above 7 GT.

Thousand Islands KSOP Office Class V Head, Herbert Marpaung wants to facilitate residents in processing large vessel passes by visiting each inhabited islands and conducting door-to-door service.

"There are about 50 taxi boats above 7 GT in Thousand Islands. We are ready to help them processing large vessel passes," he said, Thursday (2/7).

Some of those taxi boats have been verified regarding its requirements when his side held small vessel pass registration some time ago in Pramuka Island.

"We should communicate with boat's owners to fulfill the administration needs and requirements," he mentioned.
